These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tripora website at https://tripora.app ("Website") and the services provided by Tripora. By accessing or using our Website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or services.
1. Description of Tripora
Tripora is a travel website that helps users plan their trips more efficiently using AI. The service assists users in creating personalized activity plans for their chosen destinations, and managing packing lists.
2. Access and Registration
To use Tripora, users must:
- Sign in via Clerk using supported identity providers.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Agree to the Privacy Policy.
Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their account information and the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activities under your account are your responsibility.
3. User Data and Privacy
We collect and store user data, including name, email, and payment-related metadata (such as order identifiers and transaction status) as necessary to provide our services. Payments are completed via a hosted checkout, and we do not receive card numbers or full payment card details. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Tripora complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users within the European Union. Payments are handled via a hosted checkout provided by Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive your card details or the contents of the payment form. We only receive order identifiers and transaction status to fulfill your purchase, and we do not store payment card details on our servers. Certain AI features are provided by OpenAI. See our Privacy Policy for the specific non-identifying trip context we may share with OpenAI to provide these features.
4. Non-Personal Data Collection
We use web cookies and other tracking technologies to collect non-personal data that helps us improve our services and user experience. This includes the use of analytics tools like PostHog to understand how you interact with our Website. 5. No Contractual Agreements
Tripora provides AI-generated content for informational purposes only. AI suggestions are not professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. Tripora makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of information provided by AI, and the AI cannot bind or cause any person or entity to be bound by contractual terms, except as stated in these Terms and the Tripora Privacy Policy.
6. Feedback and Suggestions
While we value user feedback, all suggestions and feedback provided to Tripora become the property of Tripora without any obligation to the user. We reserve the right to utilize or disregard user feedback at our discretion.
7. Termination of Use
Tripora may terminate or restrict a user's access to the service for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Users may discontinue using Tripora at any time.
8. Account Deactivation and Data Retention
To ensure the efficient management of our services, Tripora maintains a policy for account deactivation based on prolonged inactivity. An account is considered inactive if there have been no logins associated with it for a specified period.
For users who are on a free trial and have not made any purchases, accounts will be subject to deactivation after 90 days of inactivity.
For users who have made a purchase, the inactivity period is extended to 730 days (2 years).
We will provide notice to the email address associated with your account prior to deactivation. Following deactivation, your data will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy before being permanently deleted.
9. Content Backups
Although regular backups of content are performed, Tripora does not guarantee that there will be no loss or corruption of data. Users are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups of any content they deem important.
10. Updates to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes via email, and changes will become effective 30 days after notification unless you agree to the updated Terms sooner.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Slovenia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Slovenia.
For users outside Slovenia, you agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content. If you access or use Tripora from other jurisdictions, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
12. Language
These Terms and Conditions are provided in English. Translations into other languages may be available for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
